Wow, it's been over a year since I posted. Life is good! I'm looking forward to a weekend with all of my kids and grandkids home. I miss my family and wish they could all live a little closer. Brittany and Jared will be in Boise for several months so we will enjoy them while we can! It's hard to believe that Owen will be 5 this month and Macy will be 4...where have the years gone?

I finally got some time to sew again. Here's the purse I made! You can put these purses on a long chain as well. Anyone know a good place to buy such a thing without spending a lot?

Trip to Minnesota

I was in Minnesota last week and thought I share a few pictures. We celebrated Easter while I was there. This is the best picture I got of Truly! What a doll. She was so excited looking for eggs.We went to mall of america and I took Owen on a ride. It was very fun! Owen would giggle as we went around the corners. It was fun to feel like a kid again.
We also found Dora at the Mall. She is very large!!! Owen liked her but Truly didn't. Sorry no picture of Truly being scared of Dora...I was too slow.

Here's a picture of Chelsea and I feeling rather small in NYC. And while I was downstairs constructing a new purse, a wall was being constructed in my back yard. I hope you like them both. (The wall of course is not finished and cost a lot more to make then my purse did.)

Hello, here is a picture of the handbag I just finished over the weekend. It still needs a big button for the middle but haven't had time to go shopping. This bag was a lot of work. How can something that looks so simple be so time consuming. I learned a few tricks for next time though. The cards I made yesterday. I just love playing with pretty paper. Hope you enjoy!

Kerry and I just returned from a great vacation in Hawaii!!! It was great fun and very beautiful. Here are a few pictures. The first one is of Kerry and I and the Laney's at the temple visitors center. The 2nd one is Just Kerry and I. The third one is of Terri and a native Tongan. The last one is of the cutest young man on the Island. He is from Tahjiti!!! I wanted to bring him home for Chelsea he was so cute.

Seminary graduation

On Sunday Travis graduated from seminary. Hard to believe it's graduation time already. We had a great time and enjoyed the meeting very much. It was especially fun because Jamie also graduated. Here are a few pictures of the blessed event!

Finally after 7 years of living in this house, I have window treatments in my bedroom. I am so excited to have it done. I think they are beautiful!!!

Boating

Yesterday we went boating at Black Canyon Resevoir with the Swensens. It was a pretty interesting night. To start off it took us about 30 min. to get the boat out of the garage! It was in there pretty tight. We finally get going and get to the lake and it was covered with tons of wood and junk from the spring run off so Kerry pretty much docked the boat and we got outand enjoyed the park instead. We didn't want to ding a prop or hurt the boat right at the beginning of the season, that would stink. We got home about 10:00 and pulled under the carport and suddenly heard this awful sound. We forgot that the tower was still up on the boat! This was not good. We bent the tower and put a hole in the roof of the carport but it gets worse. We could not get the boat out because the tower wold hit the beams if we moved it and there wasn't enough room to get the tower down because we needed more clearance to lift it up and off. So the only way we could think to lower the boat was to take the air out of the tires. It worked!!! Kerry got the pole off and the tires blown up and all is well except for the nice hole in the carport. You can thank Chelsea for the great picture.

Today I flew in Kerry's new airplane. We went to McCall for breakfast. KERRY KEPT REFERRING TO HIS PLANE AS "SEXY". AND I KEPT SAYING "HOW CAN A PLANE BE SEXY"? "OH, IT JUST IS". WELL FINALLY I GET TO SEE THE PLANE AND I GUESS AS FAR AS PLANES GO, AND COMPARED TO THE OTHER PLANES WE SAW, IT WAS KIND OF SEXY. (sorry I had the caps button pushed.) It was great to get to McCall in 30 minutes and the seat is nicer than the other plane, but I just don't get that thrill and excitement out of flying. I just wasn't born to fly!! Kerry did a great job however. Our landings were great and he even dodged another plane so we wouldn't collide.

It's a good thing he has a friend and some sons-in-law who share his love for flying. As for me I'll stick to tennis!!
